Mission:

The mission of SSS is to provide quality and individually based services to persons with mental disabilities. Our goal is to "Help People Reach Their Potential" with a "whatever it takes" attitude. We will actively support the dreams and goals that the individual has for the future. Our educated, professional staff are encouraged to be creative and innovative in developing supports for the people we serve.

Philosophy:

We adhere to the guiding principles of self-determination and "Quest for an Everyday Life".

• Security/Stability: Every individual deserves as much security and stability as possible in their lives.
• Choice/Control/Freedom: Every individuals has the right to choose how they will live their lives and should be given them control over their lives.
• Rights: Everyone is treated with dignity and respect and individuals are given responsibility for their decisions and actions.
  
• Individuality/Personal Goals: The dreams and goals of all individuals are to be respected. Staff will assist in making goals a reality.
  
• Integration/Citizenship/Social Inclusion: Everyone has the ability to contribute to their community, they deserve the opportunity to participate in local activities and issues.
  
• Relationships: The relationships a person has are integral in ensuring a good quality of life.
  
• Prosperity/Income Supports: Every individual should have a say in their finances and those who want to work should be offered the opportunity.
  
• Success/Recognition: Everyone deserves recognition for their successes.
  
• Health: Everyone individual should received quality medical care in a timely fashion.
  
• Technology/Environment/Safety: Every individual deserves a safe and clean environment, accessible for all of their needs.
  
• Quality/Satisfaction: Everyone has the right to quality care and the format in which to express satisfaction and /or grievances.
